ACCESSIBILITY

Our approach is to offer 100% accessibility to W3C standards. These standards are closely comparable to the USA’s Section 508 standards and most EU accessibility standards. Accessibility is important to us: our passion is for delivering systems that allows (all) people to learn and to engage with learning and learners.

ANY DEVICE COMPATIBILITY WITH CSS MEDIA QUERIES

Media queries allow us to change the layout of a page based on the media device that will display that page, whether it is a printer, a mobile phone or a tablet. Media queries are the cornerstone of responsive design. This gives us the opportunity to offer smartphone (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile) and tablet friendly learning.

COLLABORATION

Our powerful commenting and messaging system allows learners to have private interactions with moderators and to participate in group discussions. Understanding that unstructured collaboration is a key part of learning is central to our platform.

OPEN SOURCE

We use a range of technologies with a preference for open source technologies where possible.
